Sessions will proceed as normal if it is raining, including during Red or Yellow Rainstorm Signals, as training is generally not affected by rain. If a Black Rainstorm Signal is in force from two hours before the session start time through to the end of the session and travel is unsafe or disrupted, the session will be cancelled.

If a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is issued, all pool sessions will be cancelled. For open water sessions, any Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above will result in cancellation.

If lightning is detected or observed within a 15km radius, or if lightning can be seen or heard, the session will be immediately cancelled or postponed until conditions improve.

Boat dives will be cancelled if Wind Force 5-6 is forecast.

In cases not covered above, instructors will use their discretion to assess the situation and determine if it is safe for training to proceed. The safety of our members always comes first, and we will notify you as soon as possible if a session is affected by weather conditions.
