AIDA 1 Course Overview

Whether you're a seasoned diver or a beginner, the AIDA 1 Freediver Course offers a refreshing new perspective on the underwater world. This course initiates you into the basic principles of Freediving.

Wondering what Freediving is? Curious about the equipment you'll need? Or how to prepare for a breathhold dive including perfecting your duck dive, finning, buddying and safety skills? The course provides hands-on training in both pool and open water, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of freediving. AIDA 1 is an excellent choice for individuals new to freediving or those looking to sample the experience in a single day, while still gaining a qualification. Consider the AIDA 1 course as your welcoming doorway into the world of freediving.

Prerequisites

• Be at least 16 years old

• Be in good physical health

• Have adequate swimming skills (i.e. able to swim at least 100 metres)

Course Fee

The course fee for the Introductory Freediving Course is HK$3000. This includes:

• Course Materials (Manual)

• Pool Entry

• AIDA 1 Digital Certification (upon completion of the course)

• Coaching from our certified instructors for designated course sessions

Freediving Equipment is not included and costs $250/day; please refer to Equipment Rental for more details.
